It’s Thanksgiving and the Ladies of Simply Lush are counting our blessings!

We’ve had a crazy, incredible, and unforgettable year. From remodeling our studio, to our boudoir adventure in Colorado, it’s been one hell of a ride!

And none of it would be possible without YOU.

We are so grateful to your gorgeous faces because without you, there is no us.

Your love, loyalty, and support do more than make Simply Lush a massive success—

It fuels and facilitates our growth and evolution, both professionally AND personally.

And though it’s fitting to have a blog about blessings on Thanksgiving, there’s another reason I wanted to write about gratitude.

See, this month marks a year I’ve been fully integrated (if you will) into Simply Lush. Until November 2017, I served solely as Simply Lush’s blog babe. Then one day Ashley made me an offer I couldn’t refuse: In addition to writing the blog, she asked me to be her studio assistant.

Now, that might seem like a nebulous term in this circumstance. Like, what does that even mean at a boudoir studio? Am I supposed to hang around like some creeper in the corner while Ashley photographs nearly-naked women?

Luckily, that’s not what “studio assistant” means at Simply Lush.

What it does mean is being a part of something bigger than myself…

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of joining countless women on their personal journeys. I’ve heard their deepest truths and seen their rawest selves. I’ve met an army of bad-ass, creative, and inspiring women. Women who decide and dare to show up to this life every damn day as their authentic selves.

And they may wear the uniforms of teachers, nurses, mediums, mothers, firefighters, and social workers, but as far as I’m concerned, they’re all wearing capes.

Why?

‘Cause they’re all f*cking superheroes.
