Who says boudoir is lingerie only and needs to be serious? This beautiful woman decided to bring along some FUN props including game controllers and a STORM TROOPER helmet! These sessions are built to help you see your true beauty and confidence but they should also reflect your personality… and that’s just what we did during her boudoir experience. Boudoir + Cosplay.
“I was very interested in doing a session but I also felt very self conscious. I have a scar on my stomach that I don’t normally show in front of strangers and I immediately cover myself when I shown the least amount of skin so I definitely got the jitters before the session started.
After my session, I felt comfortable in my skin. Ashley’s team did my makeup and hair so I felt very pampered. When I went to change into the outfits I forgot my shame. Ashley made me feel so relaxed and at ease. She walked me through the different positions and was also open to any ideas that I had so I was really able to make the most of my time.
On a personal level this shoot was a huge break through for my self esteem. I was told at a young age that my scar would hinder me from being a model. Although my ambitions were far from seeking a professional career in modeling, the comment stuck with me forever. There was a time in my life where I would barely speak a word to anyone and over the years I have been able to pick up the pieces and build up that confidence. This was just another part of that journey. Thank you for the experience!
I think you are doing a fantastic job making the clients feel comfortable and worthwhile. You have a natural talent for making people feel at ease. I get very anxious about being in the spotlight and instead I felt like I was having fun with a friend.” – Mary
