How to Increase Body Positivity Through Authentic Connection

As women, we go through a lot of changes throughout our lives. We have to manage our time between work, family, and social obligations. Amidst all of the noise and chaos, it can be easy to forget about our own needs. This is especially true when it comes to our bodies. We put so much focus on taking care of others that we can neglect to nurture ourselves. This is why it’s so important to form a connection with your body. Our body is our temple. It’s where we house our thoughts and emotions. It’s the vessel that carries us through life. When we form a connection with our body, we form a connection with our authentic selves. It allows us to learn to love and accept ourselves for who we are, inside and out (and it’s easier than you think).

Forming an authentic connection means spending some time with your body.

“I was excited, vulnerable, and ready,” Miss S told us before she arrived for her session. “For so long I felt like the ‘fat girl’ that I was afraid that’s all I would see when I looked at my photos. But once I saw them, I could really see the progress in my body and my connection with it. It was the first time in a while that I’d seen pictures of myself and thought they looked as hot as I feel. It was nice to feel that connection again.

I felt sexy, and like, I deserved to feel that good!

This allowed me to show off the ‘private side’ of myself. What was so nice about it, was that I was able to celebrate it myself rather than waiting for someone else to celebrate it. On top of that, this was the first time getting hair and makeup done that I truly LOVED my look! And the HMU artist, she was great. The entire experience was PERFECT!

I left feeling hot as fuck.

And, who doesn’t want to feel hot as fuck? Not only because of how your body looks, but how you feel connected to it. I promise you, it’s an entirely new level of confidence you didn’t know was possible (but it is).

So, take a chance on yourself. Invest in your body and mind. Get to know what makes you feel good. Nurture the relationship you have with yourself. It may be one of the most important ones you ever have. And who knows? You may just find that when you love yourself, everything else falls into place. Follow the link below to get started, now.

I’ve had two sessions with Ashley and each time I met a new version of myself.
They were absolutely beautiful and captured the essence of who I am.
