“Life was downright awful for me, work was 95% of my stress and my anxiety was at an all-time high,”

Miss C recalled when discussing why she booked a session with Simply Lush. “I had debated about doing this for over two years. I always thought, I wasn’t pretty enough, thin enough, and didn’t think I was confident enough to take the plunge. But, at this point work was so stressful that I had begun having health problems and was experiencing hair loss. I finally started to realize if I didn’t invest the time to release stress + anxiety (and take care of myself), no one else was going to do that for me. So, I finally decided to jump in and invest in my confidence.

I’M SO GLAD I DID! I had so much fun!

On the day of my shoot, I was so nervous and excited I couldn’t sleep. I even laid out what I wanted to bring and forgot a bodysuit anyway (I’ll save it for my next shoot). When I arrived, the music was so easy to vibe to and helped calm my nerves. But, my favorite part was seeing my name on the wall, it made me so excited I could cry. This was something I had wanted to do for so long and it was finally happening! I looked around at the portraits on the studio wall thinking to myself, I could never be that beautiful or confident (you’ll soon find out I was wrong).

When I was brought back to my pampering ( which is something, I barely do for myself) the conversation was so great with Chelsea! She listened to what I wanted and hid some of my hair loss! It was also good to know, I wasn’t the only one this happened to, and she was able to give me tips to use at home as well. After hair and make-up, I walked out in my outfit, and no lie, I seriously felt so sexy and beautiful… I couldn’t stop looking at myself! On top of that, Ashley made me so comfortable. She coached me through everything, and it was truly one of the best investments I made for myself.

Ever since my shoot, I feel more empowered!

I have a bit more confidence in myself to try new things and to love myself in the body and skin I’m in. I’ve already directed friends to Simply Lush because everyone deserves this. Everything was absolutely perfect and can’t wait to do it again!
